One of the best books I’ve ever read or listened to. Just Listen is really amazing and inspiring. If you’re a manager you definitely should read this piece of art.
I liked Just Listen much for the following reasons:
1. Very simple and straight to the point language
2. Provide techniques for identifying different type of personalities and how to handle each personality. This includes takers, bullies, narcissists,psychopaths …etc
3. The structure of the book is very convenient: small chapters with usable insights and clear action steps at the end of each chapter
4. Includes a very interesting, powerful and eye-opening tools, Magic Paradox, Reverse Playing and Impossibility Questions are the techniques I liked most
Chapter 24 “Team from the Hell” puts different techniques and concepts into action with life situations.
Without any doubts I give this book 5 stars, Listening to this book was a real pleasure and fruitful experience. I have really enjoyed it all and started applying the techniques. It’s definitely one of the books that left a dent in my life and personality. I will definitely read more of Mark’s books.
